World Environment Day ( June 5 )

Every year we celebrate World Environment Day on June 5th.Only on this particular day the media and newspapers make a huge fuss about our environment.But do we really care for the envt? How many of us think about saving our envt by taking small steps in our day to day life?

Films

I think good films play a vital role in moulding a person's character.You can learn a lot from films and a person's attitude undergoes a change by watching films.There are numerous films that totally transformed me and made me think differently about life.Films like Children of heaven,Life is beautiful,Shawshank Redemption,The Pianist,Cast Away,Bucket list,The terminal,Visitor,Cinema paradiso,Bicycle thief,Flash of a genius,Gran Torino and many indian films inspired me a lot and took me to a different level .I think the govt should take necessary steps to introduce film watching as a part of syllabus in all schools at higher secondary level and in colleges.It will enhance the students to think and view life in a totally different perspective.Good films should be encouraged if we want to bring a change in the society.

புத்தகம் படிப்பது

புத்தகம் படிப்பது இன்று மிகவும் குறைந்து கொண்டே வருகிறது.இது மிகவும் வருத்தம் தரகூடிய விஷயமாகும்.இதற்கு நம் பள்ளிகளும் கல்லூரிகளும் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கிறது.புத்தகம் ஒருவனை பக்குவம் அடைய செய்கிறது.அவனை சிந்திக்க தூண்டுகிறது,கேள்விகள் கேட்க வைக்கிறது மற்றும் மனதை விரிவடைய செய்கிறது.புத்தகம் ஒருவனுக்கு நல்ல வழிகாட்டியாக அமைகிறது.நம் தலைமுறைக்கு புத்தகம் படிக்கும் பழக்கத்தை வித்திட வேண்டும். இதற்கு பள்ளிகளும் கல்லூரிகளும் முக்கிய பங்காற்றவேண்டும்.நம் மாணவ செல்வங்களுக்கு புத்தகம் வாசிப்பதால் ஏற்படும் நன்மைகளை எடுத்து கூற வேண்டும்.திருக்குறள்,பாரதியார் பாடல்கள் ,கவிதைகள் மற்றும் நல்ல கட்டுரைகள் நம் கல்வி திட்டத்தில் கட்டாய பாடமாக சேர்க்கப்படவேண்டும்.தமிழ் அணைத்து பள்ளிகளிலும் கட்டாயப் பாடமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.இல்லையென்றால் தமிழ் மொழி இனி மெல்ல நம் தலைமுறையோடு தொலைந்துபோய்விடும்.

My first day of blogging

I am not a mouse potato but still got sudden interest to start my own blog.This is bcoz at present i am jobless and only during this time , we find numerous ways to kill our time.So here i am trying to scribble something in the name of writing.I am a funloving person who likes to chat with friends,love to watch nice movies,listen to nice melodious songs ,reading,travelling etc.I love chennai and its beach a lot.
